Do you Listen to Music while Working?
Twitter Poll Results
To find out what percentage of people listen to music while working, I created a Twitter poll, which was up for 1 week.
Out of 1,705 votes, 62.5% do listen to music while working, while 15.4% said they do not. The second most-voted response to no surprise was "I ❤️ Danny DeVito".

I always have a Spotify Playlist on whenever I'm working. For me, music is a soundtrack to my thoughts and actions, providing extra creative fuel for developing script ideas for video campaigns, and even the topic for this poll.
I believe that the brain functions similarly to a hybrid car - it needs multiple power sources. For humans, one consistent power source is knowledge, the second might be coffee every morning, and the third is music.
There are so many music playlists on YouTube with millions of views that are curated for people to listen to while they work. I’m not trying to convince anyone of starting this new habit if they have not already. It's just interesting to delve deeper and see the numbers behind a behavior. The rhythm and tempo may help amplify a range of emotions, unlocking ideas.

Quentin Tarantino said, “To me, movies and music go hand in hand. When I'm writing a script, one of the first things I do is find the music I'm going to play for the opening sequence." Whether or not you listen to music while working, it can set a mood and evoke emotions in various other settings, such as restaurants, shops, and movie scenes. Elevators were the only place where music did us wrong.
